Fuegaux Design Co. is a one person design studio run by Jose Hiram Negrete in Dallas, Fort Worth, Texas. This policy covers this website, fuegaux.com, and the design work the studio does for clients. It does not cover the iOS apps listed on this site. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its own project page.

The short version

This site does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. There is no contact form. There are no marketing cookies. If you want to reach the studio you send an email, and that email is the only personal information the studio ends up holding.

What this site collects

Nothing through a form. There is no contact form on this website. The contact page lists an email address as a normal mail link.

No analytics or advertising. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no heat mapping, and no third party tracking script running on this site. Visits are not profiled and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Server logs. The site is hosted by DreamHost. Like nearly all web hosts, DreamHost records standard request logs that can include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These are kept by the host for security and troubleshooting and are not used by the studio to build any profile of you.

Images served from a public CDN. Portfolio screenshots on this site are served from jsDelivr, a free public content delivery network. When your browser loads one of those images, jsDelivr receives the request in the ordinary way a CDN does, including your IP address and browser type. The studio receives no report or analytics from jsDelivr.

WordPress defaults. This site runs on WordPress. WordPress may request emoji assets from s.w.org. There is no blog and no comment form on this site, so no commenter information is collected.

What happens when you email the studio

If you email fuegaux@gmail.com, that message sits in a Gmail mailbox operated by Google. It is used only to reply to you and to carry out any work you go on to hire the studio for. It is not added to a mailing list, and the studio does not send marketing email.

Client project information

When the studio builds a website or an app for a client, it will normally receive material such as logos, photographs, copy, business details, and login credentials for hosting or a domain. That material belongs to the client. It is used only to do the agreed work, it is not shared with anyone outside the project without permission, and credentials are used only for the work and can be rotated by the client at any time after handover.

Service providers

The studio relies on a small number of ordinary service providers to run this site and its work. Each has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set a functional cookie if you log in as an administrator, which applies to the studio and not to visitors.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information the studio holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because the studio holds very little, usually just an email thread, this is normally a quick request to honour. Email fuegaux@gmail.com and it will be handled.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 13, and the studio does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
