Your city, in season.
About Social Season Club
Social Season Club is my Dallas-Fort Worth events app, live on the App Store. It answers one question well: what is worth doing in Dallas or Fort Worth tonight and this weekend, and who is already going. Every pick is curated by hand, from Uptown and Deep Ellum to Bishop Arts, Legacy Hall and the Katy Trail.
I built it because the event apps DFW had were either coastal transplants pretending to know Deep Ellum, or endless scrolls of ticketing promotions with no sense of who is actually there. SSC is small on purpose: a Tonight feed, a short weekend shortlist, neighborhood guides, and a Club tier for the people who want more of it.
Key features
- Tonight feed and map of what is happening across Dallas-Fort Worth right now
- A curated weekend shortlist: three things worth doing, not forty
- Browse everything without an account; sign in only when you RSVP
- Public event share pages, so a friend can open an event on the web without installing anything
- Club membership through StoreKit subscriptions, with a founding rate for early members
- Companion marketing site and blog with Dallas neighborhood guides at socialseasonclub.com
Tech stack
Expo, React Native and TypeScript on the app. Supabase for Postgres, Realtime and Edge Functions. RevenueCat for subscriptions. Next.js on Vercel for the public event pages, with Event schema and a sitemap. WordPress for the marketing site.
